We are delighted that for the fifth year running you can support Groundswell through Advent of Change and give back in the countdown to Christmas. Over the past four Christmases Advent of Change customers have raised over £15,000 for Groundswell – just by purchasing one of their festive products to countdown to Christmas!
Advent of Change is an award-winning social enterprise hoping to spread the gift of giving this Christmas. Their festive range of products replace the chocolate and plastic of traditional advent calendars with a daily donation to a huge range of incredible causes.
Groundswell has been chosen to feature on two products this year, which are available to buy from the Advent of Change website and John Lewis & Partners.
Premium Calendar
Groundswell is featured in the best-selling premium advent calendar, which includes 24 local, national and international charities. Behind each window is an insight into each charity, all of which receive £1 for every calendar sold. It’s a wonderful gift for a friend or for the whole family.
Scented gift candle
The scented candle is a lovely gift for the Christmas period and beyond. As the eucalyptus and lime scented candle burns down, 12 stars are revealed, one of which represents Groundswell. An accompanying booklet includes more detail on each charity and how the 80p received from each candle will make a difference.
